Greater Racine Lifecourse Initiative for Healthy Families

Funding Source

The Wisconsin Partnership Program of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health financially supports the planning activities of the Greater Racine Collaborative for Healthy Birth Outcomes (GRC4HBO) through their initiative to find out why infant mortality rates are higher in certain areas in Southeastern Wisconsin.   The Johnson Foundation at Wingspread provides matching funds that also support the planning process which includes community discussion groups, collaborative meetings, mass storage of project documents, and project briefings. Racine/Kenosha Community Action Agency provides fiscal management, direct supervision and housing of the project manager and assistant, and provides meeting space.
